Premier Patient Healthcare was founded by Drs. Montalbano and Brideau in order to provide the ultimate in personalized medical care to their patients. [Read More About Our Doctors]

For more than 14 years, we have shared a medical practice in Northern Virginia. During those years, the delivery of medical care has become clinically and administratively complex and fraught with numerous hassles for both the patient and their physician. Some of our colleagues have retired early rather than continue to incur escalating frustration with the status quo. In our opinion, the ideal patient-doctor relationship is a personal one that emphasizes access, education and a commitment to maximizing one’s health.

On January 6, 2006, we opened Premier Patient Healthcare and Dr. Montalbano began accepting patients in this new model on July 1, 2006. We are now happy to announce that Premier Patient Healthcare has contracted with Dr Brideau to accept patients in this model in addition to his current practice at Springfield Family Medicine. We believe that Premier Patient Healthcare will provide the means to return the emphasis to you and allow our physicians to continue to practice medicine in a high quality, proactive manner while preserving their professional standards and integrity. This personalized, old-fashioned approach to medicine is designed to exceed patient’s expectations of his or her health care provider and to eliminate barriers between patients and their physician. In this setting, we place a greater emphasis on preventive care and access, meaning you won't just see us when you are ill. With all routine appointments scheduled for at least 30 minutes, the doctor can address not only your acute and chronic conditions, but also review your preventive health issues at the same visit. This is impossible in the current routine 15 minute appointment.

We look forward to becoming advocates for your health and partners in your health care. [Join Us] or [Contact Us] for more information!

“Premier Patient Healthcare will allow me to practice medicine at a pace that will ensure I get to know my patients and their families better. It will provide me with the time to educate my patients on their health issues and give them the opportunity to have my undivided attention. Premier Patient Healthcare’s practice model will allow me to restore the continuity of care between patient and physician, which has been eroded today by third parties such as insurance providers and the government.”

“Premier Patient Healthcare provides a way for physicians and patients to dictate how they interact with each other rather than following rules set up by insurance companies. Premier Patient Healthcare will allow its physicians to spend more time addressing the patients’ needs at each visit rather than just the most pressing medical needs. When talking to other physicians that have set up similar membership practices, the relationship between patient and physician returns to a friendly professional relationship.”
